Gluten-free Carnival Chiacchiere with Nutella filling –
“Chiacchiere” (chats) with a luscious Nutella filling, really delicious.
Preparation time 30 minutes
Ingredients for about 20 “Chiacchiere”:
200 g of gluten-free flour (I used the Revolution flour)
125 ml of double cream
1 tablespoon of sugar flavored with vanilla (*)
1 tablespoon of rum
a pinch of salt
icing sugar to decorate
seed oil for frying
(*) store the white sugar in a jar containing a vanilla bean
Freeze the Nutella putting small piles of cream on a baking sheet and place in the freezer for an hour.
Meanwhile, mix flour, cream, sugar, rum, salt and knead.
Roll out the dough very thin, put the frozen Nutella balls spaced between them and fold over the dough; cut the squares with a serrated wheel.
Fry in abundant seed oil or bake in oven 180°C for 20 minutes, good with both type of cooking.
Sprinkle with icing sugar when they are cold.
