Tu Pasta Ristorante Madrid –
If you are planning a trip to Madrid, surely you can’t miss out on visiting the splendid “Parque de el Retiro“… one of the most beautiful city parks, located right in the city center!
And if during your journey you want to eat an excellent dish of pasta, obviously without gluten… what better opportunity to visit Tu! Pasta ?!?
Tu Pasta Restaurant Madrid

We were able to taste the dishes of Tu Pasta Madrid Restaurant in spring. A perfect time to enjoy the beautiful Madrid and spend a pleasant day in the Retiro park.

The restaurant is located next to the park, on the north-east side. It is easily reachable by bus or subway. (“Ibiza” station). The stop is right next to the restaurant!

Tu Pasta Restaurant Madrid is really nice: minimal furnishing very well cared for, not many tables (between the internal and external areas, there will be about twenty or so tables), therefore maximum customer care. Staff mostly Italian, very courteous and certainly well informed about celiac disease and gluten-free diet in general 🙂
The menu is rich with plenty of choices, including gluten-free dishes.
Tu Pasta Restaurant Madrid actually isn’t only a restaurant. Within the restaurant, an area has been set up for the sale of fresh products, with an eye on quality and healthy ingredients.

Given the planned walk in the park, we decided to keep it light (…. and we resisted the temptation of desserts…). So we had lunch with two gluten-free plates of pasta, simple but really well prepared. Taking the pasta out of Italy is always a risk, but knowing that Tu! Pasta is managed by Italians, we have gone quite safe…. and our trust has been well placed!
Both the “penne” with pesto and courgettes, as well as those with tomato sauce “all’arrabbiata” (spicy tomato sauce) have proved to be up to our expectations: perfect cooking, good consistency, and excellent condiments.

We can definitely recommend Tu Pasta Restaurant in Madrid both for the location (for the record, we have lunch at the outdoor tables), and for the quality of food and service 😉

This was the expense for our lunch:
