Gluten-free bakery of the chain “Starbene Senza Glutine” in Sesto Fiorentino, a small town near Florence (Italy).
Address: 101/A, Via Calenzano, Sesto Fiorentino – Phone: 055 795 0783
Large enough place with tables and a good choice of both fresh and packaged products.
The girl at the desk is very polite and nice. We went there one morning for breakfast and she prepared us a delicious cappuccino with soy milk.
In addition to the 2 cappuccinos, we took 2 eclairs and, to take away, a pastries’ tray, 2 pieces of focaccia and 1 piece of pizza, all for € 26.50.
Eclairs and cream puffs are definitely the best of these bakeries, along with the buckwheat focaccia. In general, all the products are very good, the only flaw is the shortcrust pastry (biscuits, tarts, etc.), a little too sweet for my taste.
