Schär’s gluten-free Wraps –
I discovered them here in Spain and I like them very much. In Italy, I eat the “piadina”, always Schär’s, but I like more these: a bit higher and soft and even the taste is better. They are in packs of 2 Wraps at € 3.56.
Schär’s gluten-free Wraps
Ingredients: water, rice flour, vegetable margarine (palm fat, coconut fat, water, canola oil, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, natural flavour), sorbitol, apple fibre, soy protein, rice starch, salt, thickeners: guar gum, locust bean gum; acidifier: tartaric acid, preservative: potassium sorbate. May contain traces of milk protein. LACTOSE-FREE.
Analysis per 100g: Energy kJ 1161/ kcal 275 – Fats 3.6 g – of which saturates 1.8 g – Carbohydrates 49 g – Of which Sugars 1.9 g – Fibre 9.3 g – Protein 7.1 g – Salt 1 g
Per wrap (80g): Energy 220 kcal – Fats 2.9 g – of which saturates 1.4 g – Sugars 1.5 g – Salt 0.8 g
I grill them for 2-3 minutes on each side and are delicious with any type of filling: cheese and ham, meat, eggs or vegetables.
