Orange blondies gluten-free – A simple gluten-free recipe with a very good taste and an intense orange scent.
Orange blondies gluten-free
Preparation time 45 minutes
Ingredients for about 10 blondies:
150 g of sugar
170 g of gluten-free flour mix (I used BiAglut flour)
8 g of baking powder
120 g of milk
2 oranges (zest and juice)
extra-thin or icing sugar
a pinch of salt
Whip the eggs with a pinch of salt for 2 minutes, then add the sugar, little by little, and whip again for about 10 minutes.
Add the milk, the zest and the juice of the oranges and mix, then the flour sieved with the baking powder, little by little, and mix again.
Pour the mixture into a rectangular or square baking sheet and bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
Check the cooking by inserting a toothpick in the cake (if it comes out dry it’s cooked).
Remove from the oven and put the cake to cool on a dessert grid. When it’s cold cut into squares and sprinkle with sugar. I had some extra-thin sugar and I sprinkled the blondies with that: the result was great! If you don’t find it you can put regular sugar in the mixer to make it thinner or use the classic icing sugar 🙂
