The hotel restaurant has a gluten-free menu. Breakfast (packed products), lunch and dinner.
In Italy, you can find gluten-free products in all supermarkets and drugstores. Organic product shops have also generally a section of gluten-free products.
Among the largest supermarkets, surely supplied with products, there are Esselunga, Carrefour, Auchan, Ipercoop, Lidl, Conad, which, besides selling products from various brands, often have their own gluten-free line.
In Milan, this supermarket chain has its own production of gluten-free bakery products: bread, pizza, biscuits, and cakes. Their products are really good and you can also order them.
Marina on our Facebook page told us that: “Il Gigante of Via Lorenteggio is equipped with very few gluten-free products and only industrial ones. I didn’t find the fresh products listed on their website.” They told her that they don’t sell their fresh products at that supermarket.
So beware, not all supermarkets of this chain sell fresh products.
