Chocolat Factory
Address: Calle Juan Manuel Durán González, 37 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Supermarkets
You can find gluten-free products in almost all supermarkets. The following are the ones where I have been and where there is a large selection of products:
Carrefour in the shopping mall Atlantico – Vecindario
Eroski in the shopping mall El Mirador – Las Palmas
This supermarket has also a machine to cut the cured meats, dedicated to gluten-free products.
Hiperdino – Ingenio
In the Hiperdino supermarkets of all Spain, all product without gluten (fruit juices, yogurt, sauces, etc.), have a black label with white writing (products containing gluten have the white label). It’s very easy to recognize them at first sight, but as always it’s important to read well the ingredients on the label of each product.
Glusearch – Free to travel
Gluten-free products are also in all Mercadona supermarkets of the island.
Here further posts on supermarkets and shops where to find gluten-free products:

Thanks so much. This is the first time since I am aware of my illness, I am going far from home and I am so relieved to hear Spain is doing good at offering gluten free food. I am not in a hotel but in an apartment Playa del Ingles so we can cook our own meals but it would be fun to be able to go out for a bite and I love my bread in the mornings so thanks for this great article.
Thanks to you for your kind comment I’m so happy to know that my posts are useful. Enjoy your holiday!
