Gluten-free spaghetti with clams –
Spaghetti with clams are very easy to make, it just takes a bit of time and care to wash them well, it’s important not find any grain of sand when you eat 🙂
Gluten-free spaghetti with clams
Preparation time 30 minutes (excluding washing of the clams)
Ingredients for 2 people:
1 kg of clams
180 grams of spaghetti pasta
8 tablespoons of tomato sauce
extra virgin olive oil
garlic
black pepper
salt
Put the clams in a bowl with lightly salted water and leave them for an hour, then change water without adding salt, and let another 30 minutes so they throw out the sand. Change the water again and keep in water for 30 minutes more.
Wash them thoroughly one by one, throwing away the broken ones.
In a large frying pan put oil and garlic, when it will have taken a beautiful golden color remove the garlic, add the clams and black pepper.
Cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes and throw away the clams that remain closed.
At this point put aside 20 clams with the shell and remove the shell from the others. Put back on the heat the clams without shell with tomato sauce. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water and, after draining, put them in the pan with the sauce, add the clams with the shell and cook 2 minutes over high heat.
