Gluten-free savory square appetizer –
I love this appetizer, easy and quick to make, that may become a main dish; perfect for a picnic.
Gluten-free savory square appetizer
I got this recipe from the blog “Diario di una passione“, making small changes and making it gluten-free.
Preparation time 50 minutes
Ingredients for 8 people:
4 eggs
200 grams of gluten-free flour (I used the BiAglut flour)
60 grams of extra virgin olive oil
120 grams of milk
70 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
a packet of baking powder
salt and pepper
80 grams of Fontina cheese (or any other cheese of your choice)
70 grams of cooked ham
Whisk the eggs in a blender for 10 seconds, then add the oil and blend for a few seconds.
Add the flour, Parmesan cheese, baking powder, milk, salt and pepper and blend. It comes out a creamy mixture.
Roll out half of the dough in a pan lined with baking paper, make a layer of cheese and then one of ham, and cover with the other half of the dough.
Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes. Cut and let cool before serving. Delicious warm or cold.
