Gluten-free sauce with small meatballs –
A sauce fast enough to make and really good, especially if you make the meatballs really small. I used it to dress simple spinach and ricotta ravioli.
Gluten-free sauce with small meatballs
Preparation time 1 hour
Ingredients for 6 persons:
150 grams of minced beef
150 grams of chopped spicy sausage
4 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
3 tablespoons of gluten-free breadcrumbs
500 grams of tomatoes
extra virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic
seed oil for frying
salt and pepper

Flavor the oil with the garlic for 5 minutes and remove it; add the chopped tomatoes, a glass of plain water, salt and cook over medium heat for 30-40 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the meatballs: mix all ingredients (meat, sausage, cheese, eggs, bread crumbs, salt) and make small balls.

Fry them in hot oil for about 7-8 minutes.

Put the meatballs on a few paper towels to remove excess oil and cook with the tomatoes for about 10 minutes, adding a little black pepper at the end of cooking… the sauce is ready 🙂
