Gluten-free restaurants in Milan

Gluten-free restaurants in Milan –

In Milan, you can find a good choice of restaurants offering gluten-free options and where you can sample the typical dishes of the city, such as the risotto or the cotoletta alla milanese, but also Japanese, Chinese, Egyptian and Venezuelan cuisine.

AIC (Italian Celiac Association) is the association of celiacs in Italy. With the “Progetto alimentazione fuori casa” (Out of Home Project), it organizes training courses for caterers so as to ensure proper management of gluten-free premises that exhibit their brand. AIC also has an APP with a list of all the gluten-free exercises, AIC MOBILE.

In Italy, you can also find facilities non-adherents to the AIC project that propose gluten-free products, which can be equally valid and informed. If you choose to eat there, you should ask your waiters and cooks about their Celiac disease’s knowledge and how they prepare gluten-free dishes.
