Gluten-free PastaRiso with wholemeal flour – Riso Scotti –
Brown rice and corn pasta “Penne rigate” by Riso Scotti.
I bought this package in Spain, at the cost of € 2.79 for 250 grams of pasta.
Whole grain rice flour (51,2 % ), whole grain maize flour (41,8 %), corn bran (6,5 %), emulsifier mono and diglycerides of fatty acids. It may contain traces of eggs.
I didn’t like this pasta, both taste than consistency. It keeps good the cooking, but should be drained while it’s still perfectly “al dente”, just one more minute and, although it still looks good, breaks when you take it with a fork.
The flavor is a little sharp, floury and I don’t like it.
