Las Cuchis
Chiringuito on the beach

lascuchismappa

Address: Paseo de Las Cuchis Urb. Rio Verde Playa – Phone: 952 773810

The owner’s daughter is celiac and they are careful to prepare gluten-free dishes. They haven’t a menu with allergens, but warning you can have almost all dishes gluten-free. There’s also gluten-free bread.

This restaurant is often advised for gluten-free eating, but I didn’t like it. The taste of the dishes was medium-low, the restaurant, though in a great location (on the border between Marbella and Puerto Banus, on the beach), is poorly maintained, with shabby furniture and the price, compared to the rest of the restaurants in the area, it’s high. We ordered an appetizer of vegetables and two fishes with potatoes, plus a bottle of still water, and we spent € 85.00.

GLUTEN-FREE ICE-CREAM PARLORS IN MARBELLA

Fresca Passione

frescapassionemappa

Address: Calle Ramón Gómez de la Serna, 1 – Phone: 952 86 16 62

Hours: 10:00pm-12:00am (open from March until October)

Website

frescapassionegelato

Gluten-free cones and ice creams. Flavors also lactose-free and sugar-free.

The ice cream is really good and most of the flavors are gluten-free (flavors with gluten have a flag with the specification). The gluten-free cone is made with rice flour, has the right consistency, but it’s quite tasteless, I didn’t like it.

frescapassionegelatoesterno

Another thing is the focus on cross-contamination, that there’s in the making of the ice cream, but unfortunately can’t be in the ice cream parlour, because there are also cones with gluten and the ice cream spoons are used on all types of cone: although asking to clean them, obviously, you can’t  be 100% sure.

grechina02Giolatto

Address: Calle Miguel Cano, s/n, 29602  – Phone: 951 38 02 16

Official site

For all flavors are specified allergens and most flavors are gluten-free: complete list.

They also have gluten-free ice cream cones, made with rice flour and wrapped individually. Flavors.

Not being a totally gluten-free ice cream parlor, and also having the cones with gluten, there is of course the problem of cross-contamination, however, they have 4 flavors (gluten-free, milk-free, eggs-free, sugar-free) whose preparation and administration are strictly safe from the point of view of cross-contamination: soy, chocolate, strawberry and rice with black cherry:
