Gluten-free Cafetería Del Real –
It ‘s really nice to find a café on the boardwalk in front of a beach that offers gluten-free pastries and bread.
I found it by accident while I was walking along the famous Las Canteras beach in the city of Las Palmas in Gran Canaria.
On the wall under the signboard, there’s the symbol of gluten-free and the written that specifies: bread and pastries for celiac – gluten-free breakfast and snacks. And, on the ground, there is a blackboard with the notice that they have gluten-free products.
Gluten-free products are kept in a separate container from other cakes.
They don’t do table service, you order all at the counter and then take the tray.
The place is nice, with modern furniture, with tables inside and outside. On the boardwalk, there’s also a row of tables right across from the beach.
When I went for breakfast, we took two cappuccinos and two muffins with butter icing, one vanilla and one lemon, both delicious, and we spent € 7.00.
The gluten-free products are from the gluten-free bakery “Mis Hijos” (which I’ll discuss in a future post), that are really good and also the cappuccino is not bad, so it’s a must for a nice breakfast or snack in front of the sea 🙂
