Gluten-free Bar de tapas La Trilla – Marbella –
Great this “bar de tapas” in Marbella. This restaurant isn’t totally gluten-free, but you may have almost all the dishes gluten-free, including croquettes, hamburgers, bread, and cakes. There’s a lot of choices and all really delicious.
Address: Calle Camilo José Cela, 4
The restaurant is small, very clean and cozy; fast and attentive service. The menu has all the dishes, that you may have gluten-free, marked with a yellow barred ear, and the cook is celiac.
You can order the portion “tapa” (appetizer), a half portion or full portion.
For starters we ordered croquettes: I have taken the “tapas” portion of the ham croquettes and the spinach croquettes (two of each type), while my husband took the entire portion of mixed croquettes, which included 6 croquettes of various flavors (fish, cheese, vegetables, meat); all really delicious, with a nice crunchy crust around, light and digestible.
They brought me 4 gluten-free rolls made by them, one of which, delicious, was with curry.
After we took 3 mini burgers: curried chicken and mayonnaise sesame, pulled pork, and filet with caramelized onions. Even all these very good, my favorite one was the pulled pork, but also the chicken was delicious, with a delicate mayonnaise. The bread, even this made by them, it was really good, crispy outside and soft inside.
For dessert, we took a cupcake with a soft heart and a dark chocolate mousse with strawberries, both fabulous.
The bill, including two 75cl bottles of still water, was € 43.00 (including tip).
Absolutely recommended, from all points of view!
